Reconnecting Place(s) through sound and dance

The event "Reconnecting Place(s) through sound and dance" consists of two activities carried out by the FCSH-UNL team within the scope of the A-PLACE Project (2019-2023), funded by Creative Europe: a soundwalk and a flashmob that will be integrated into the celebrations of 8 years of Associação Passa Sabi, taking place on October 22, 2022, at 5:00 pm, in Bairro do Rego, in Lisbon. During the soundwalk, participants can hear the sounds of that area of the city through the soundscape, while watching short moments of dance choreographed according to the sounds, in a flashmob movement. The soundscape and the choreography were co-created by the young people from the neighborhood with the composer João Ferreira, the choreographer Inês Galvão Teles and director Marta Fiolić.
