The presentational workshop "(Re)Connecting places through artistic practices" was held as part of the A-Place Project's participation at the New European Bauhaus Festival that took place between 9th and 12th of June 2022 at Gare Maritime in Brussels.
The workshop addressed topics such as community building through artistic practices and creation with and for the community, by taking as a case study one of Lisbon's neighborhoods, Bairro de Rego, and the activities taking place there through the collaboration of A-Place Project and the neighborhood association Passa Sabi. More specifically, the workshop was centered around the purpose and goals of A-Reconnecting-Place in Lisbon as a part of the A-Place Project and invited the audience to reflect on the meaning of a place through different artistic practices, such as music, photography, dance, and video and discuss with us different possibilities in co-creating with the community.
