Greening the city workshops

In the framework of the Urban Entrepreneurship summer workshop organised by Urban Gorillas and the Centre for Entrepreneurship of the Cyprus University two afternoon workshops were dedicated to developing project proposals relevant to thethe A Seedling Place project. 

The course was attended by  students of different disciplines from the University of Cyprus that had a one week challenge to present a project that tackles urban challenges. 

The scope of this workshop was to impel the students to develop innovative ideas based on issues they identified in cities. The two afternoon workshops were designed to inspire students about nature based solutions in cities, and to help them develop sustainable projects that aim at creating a greener city. 

During this week, students have had the chance to meet and attend a series of lectures by entrepreneurs and professors from across the world including: Japan, France, Cyprus, Italy, Malawi, Guatemala, Lebanon, India and US who have been leaders of amazing social entrepreneurship projects.
